About
A big part of our mission is the empowerment and support of black girls to help with their business success. A lot of the girls that go through our program already have their own businesses, so this year we're starting a new initiative to further our support for them. Our new BGMB Ambassador Program will highlight and celebrate the amazing work these girls are doing, and help them reach new audiences. We will continuously promote their projects on our page and attend their events. You can view these collaborations when they launch on our Instagram (@blackgirlsmeanbusinessprogram) and learn more about these incredible girls below.

Osoe Projects; Founder
Girl Well was founded to address the societal inequalities surrounding self-care. Through the distribution and curation of self-care kits, we aim to provide greater access and equity to the self-care experience. ​

Olivia is a 16 year old from Evanston, Illinois. She is the founder of Osoe Projects, which is the umbrella organization for her many nonprofits including Diversify Golf, Olivia's Pink Lemonade & Pink Ribbon Cookie Sales, and Hygiene Kits for Evanston's Underserved. Diversify Golf is her largest project, for which she leads clinics to teach girls and kids of color how to play golf for free!

How can you support?
On November 28th, 2023, Olivia will be hosting a hygiene kit packing for Giving Tuesday locally in Evanston, Illinois. If you are local, you can sign up to volunteer, otherwise you can help by donating items on her Amazon wishlist. Hope for Health & Hygiene; Founder & President
Hi! My name is Aliyah Saleem. I am the Founder and President of Hope for Health & Hygiene. Our mission is to create a future where no one has to choose between food and basic hygiene necessities. Hope for Health & Hygiene is working to change that and help end hygiene poverty around the globe. Since we launched last year, we've donated over 4,500 hygiene products to communities worldwide and created a Community Wellness Center at the Plainfield Public Library.

Hi, my name is Khloe Thompson, I got to Colony High school, I love reading and traveling. I am the founder and CEO of my non-profit organization called Khloe Kares, I started Khloe Kares because I would pass the same homeless woman on my way to school and I felt bad for her and needed to do something to help her.
